P307 Before You Go – Permits and Access Note the increase in some national park entry and camping fees as well as national park passes. The following information was correct on 1 July 2005.
NSW Day Passes now $7 per vehicle
Country Parks Pass now $45 per vehicle per year ($75 for two years)
All Parks Pass now $85 per vehicle per year ($150 for two years)
SA Day Passes now $7 per vehicle
Day Passes for Desert Parks now $20 per vehicle per 24 hours
The Statewide Parks Pass has been replaced with the Multiparks Pass costing $63 per vehicle ($99 with up to 5 nights camping at a time in any one place) – concessions for eligble seniors apply.
The Four Weeks Holiday Parks Pass has been replaced with the two month-long Holiday Pass costing $28 per vehicle ($44 with up to 5 nights camping at a time in any one place) - concessions for eligble seniors $22.
The Desert Parks Pass now costs $95 per year (renewal $60) - no concessions but cheaper if renewed the following year.
The annual Flinders Park Pass is no longer available.
Camping fees have been reduced, starting at $4 per vehicle per night (higher costs in Flinders and Mt Remarkable national parks during school holidays).
Tas Day Passes now $20 per vehicle
Holiday Pass now $50 per vehicle per 8 weeks (unlimited visits)
Annual Pass now $60 per vehicle per year (unlimited visits) – senior’s concession now $48
Camping fees at Mt Field National Park now $20
NT Day passes no longer required for Kakadu National Park.
